Día 2 de Test de Pretemporada en el Circuito Internacional de Baréin, en Sakhir. Problemas para Mercedes, en el coche de Hamilton y también en la caja de cambios de Sebastian Vettel (Aston Martin usa las cajas de cambios de Mercedes). Sin embargo el equipo campeón consigue llegar a lo alto de la tabla de tiempos con Valtteri Bottas. Resultado muy similar a 2020 para Ferrari, buen resultado para Alpha Tauri, Mclaren y Aston Martin. Sorprendente la actuación de Nicholas Latifi con el Williams colocando en el top 10. Alonso ha demostrado velocidad con el Alpine y ha quedado segundo en la tabla de tiempos mañanera.
