The Storm is a crucial gameplay mechanic in Fortnite: Battle Royale, forming a large ring around the map at the start of each game. As the game progresses, the Storm moves and damages players' HP, increasing its damage per second. The safe zone is called the Storm Eye. The Storm's timing and damage per second are determined by the Grace Period, Shrink Time, Damage during shrinking, Damage after shrinking, and Storm Eye Diameter after closing.
The Storm can move in Arena and Competitive matches, fully moving in Phases 6, 7, 8, and closing in Phase 9. In regular and Zero Build playlists, it closes until Phase 7, where it moves in Phases 8 and 9, with Phase 7 having an indicator for the new center of the storm.
Players can heal in The Storm, and any method of restoring HP will allow them to survive longer. However, staying in the Storm for too long results in Storm Sickness.
🏛️ • Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2: Myths & Mortals - In Chapter 5 Season 2: Myths & Mortals, players face Olympian legends, including Hades and Zeus, who rule the Fortnite Battle Royale Island in a state of otherworldly rage. Utilize their mythological powers and weapons to defeat them. Players can progress in the Battle Pass to unlock more outfits, including Aphrodite, Slurpseidon, Artemis, Zeus, Hades, Medusa, Cerberus, and Korra.
⚔️ • Battle Royale is a PvP mode in Fortnite, where players drop onto an island and fight to be the last one standing. The game has ranked and tournament modes. Seasons are released in about four times a year, each with its own unique theme, map, loot pool, and features. Each season also comes with a unique Battle Pass, which can be purchased with around 950 V-Bucks. A storyline is also part of the game, developed through cinematic trailers, quests, and Live Events. Fortnite: Battle Royale and Zero Build receive biweekly content updates, with a hotfix in between to keep the game fresh.
