Forza 7 Drag race: Ford Mustang GT350R vs Mercedes-AMG GTS vs Porsche Cayman GT4 vs Alfa 8C
465Hello everyone and welcome back to the series of Forza drag races, and today we have a 4-way sports car drag race, featuring the 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4, the 2016 Ford Mustang GT350R, the 2015 Mercedes-AMG GTS and the 2008 Alfa Romeo 8C Competitzione, lets have a look at their specs!
Lets start off with the 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4. Priced higher than the Cayman GTS, the GT4 is the flagship model of the 981c codenamed second generation Porsche Cayman. It is designed as a track-ready car and uses several components derived from the larger Porsche 911 series such as the engine and front suspension. It uses a 3.8L Naturally Aspirated flat-six that produces 385 bhp and 310 lb.ft of torque, weighing at just 1310 kg and the power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-Speed Manual Transmission.
Now lets move onto the 2016 Mustang GT350R. The Shelby GT350R is a track-focused variant of the Shelby GT350, which in turn is a high-performance variant of the sixth generation, pre-facelift (2015-2017) Ford Mustang.
It uses a 5.2L Naturally Aspirated V8 that produces 526 bhp and 429 lb.ft of torque, weighing at 1660 kg and the power is sent to its RWD via a 6-Speed Manual Transmission.
The Mercedes-AMG GTS 2015, codenamed C190 or R190, is the successor to the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, which was the first sports/supercar developed entirely in-house by Mercedes-AMG. The Mercedes-AMG GT went on sale in two variants (GT and GT S) in March 2015, while a GT3 racing variant of the car was released in 2015. A GT4 racing variant, targeted at at semi-professional drivers and based on the GT R variant, was released in 2017. All variants are assembled at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen, Germany. With a 4.0L Twin-Turbocharged V8, the car is able to produce 503 bhp and 479 lb.ft of torque, weighing at 1621 kg and the power is sent to its RWD via a 7-Speed dual-clutch transmission
And finally, we have the 2007 Alfa Romeo 8C Competitizione, which is a grand tourer powered by Ferrari F430's 4.7L Naturally Aspirated V8, producing 450 bhp and 354 lb.ft of torque, weighing at 1585 kg and the power is sent to its RWD via a 6-Speed sequential transmission.
