Forza Horizon 4 Drag race: Corvette C7 Zr1 vs Aventador J vs Italdesign Zerouno
Hello everyone and welcome back to the series of Forza drag races, and today i got a good match up for the newely added Italdesign Zerouno. And that is the 2019 Corvette Zr1 and the Aventador J from 2012. Lets take a look at their specs!
Lets start off with the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Zr1. The ZR1 is heavily based on the Z06 platform with many noticeable changes, including the all-new 6.2 L; 376.0 cu in (6,162 cc) pushrod LT5 V8 engine equipped with a 2.6 L (0.6 imp gal; 0.7 US gal) Eaton supercharger that is 52% larger than that of the Z06 along with a new fuel injection system. The new engine produces 755 hp (765 PS; 563 kW) at 6,300 rpm and 715 lb⋅ft (969 N⋅m) of torque at 4,400 rpm. Weighing at just 1615 kg and the power is sent to its RWD via a 8-Speed semi-automatic with paddle shift transmission.
Now lets move onto the 2017 Italdesign Zerouno. Which its name stands for Zero uno (Zero one for italian). is the first ever production car by Italdesign. Based on the Huracan LP610-4, the Zerouno uses a carbon-fiber and aluminum chassis for a mid-engine, all-wheel drive layout. The bodywork, whose front-end is designed after Formula One cars, is entirely made in carbon-fiber. Despite the all-carbon fiber bodywork, the Zerouno is still heavier by 227 lb (103 kg)[1] than the Huracán as it also has larger body dimensions than the latter.
The drivetrain is very similar to that of the Huracán LP 610-4, consisting of a 5.2 liter V10 engine[2] with 602 hp (449 kW) and 413 ft·lb (560 N·m) and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. And weighs at just 1525 kg.
FInally, we have the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador J. built on the same chassis as the Aventador LP700-4 with its top roof removed and air conditioning and radios removed to save weight, using the same 6.5L N/A V12, producing 691 bhp and 509 lb.ft of torque, weighing at just 1575 kg, and it uses a 7-Speed ISR Single clutch transmission that sends the power to its AWD.
Now lets line them up and find out!
