Forza Motorsport 7 will reach End of Life status in September
4Forza Motorsport 7 will no longer be available for purchase from digital storefronts or available on Xbox Game Pass after September 15, 2021.
The announcement was made on the official Forza Motorsport Twitter account, where they revealed that on September 15, the game will reach “End of Life status”, meaning the game and its DLC will no longer be available to purchase.
In a follow-up blog post, the Forza Support Team explained how the “End of Life status” will affect players who already own the game or DLC.
They revealed that “after September 15, players who own Forza Motorsport 7 will still be able to download and play the game and features like multiplayer and online services will still be accessible.”
It was also noted that “If you are an Xbox Game Pass member who purchased Forza Motorsport 7 DLC [before the End of Life announcement] but not the base game, you will receive a token for the game through the Xbox message center so you can continue to enjoy Forza Motorsport 7 and all its content.”
Also, for players who wish to purchase the game before it’s delisted, they are offering a discount of its different versions; Forza Motorsport 7 Ultimate Edition for $19.99, the Deluxe Edition for $14.99 and the Standard Edition for $9.99.
