Let's play FTL and enjoy some rocking space sim gameplay! Easily a favorite game of the last few years, FTL is a shining star in a galaxy of great indie games and it's something I keep going back to because I love. Whether it's shooting missiles and lasers or transporting aboard enemy ships, FTL keeps everyone guessing and provides endless replayability with its delightful (and sometimes cruel) randomness. Hey, let's play some FTL and bring out the Red Tail, perhaps my favorite permutation of the Kestrel, and maybe even my favorite ship in the game. Period.

FTL is a space simulator game that borrows heavily from the roguelike games. For pedants, it considers itself a "roguelike-like" which is to say it's not a roguelike, but it's close. Whether you're controlling doors and characters while playing the game or blasting with lasers, bombs, or ion guns, the gameplay never gets boring because you always have something to do.
