The reason why the teams are stacked in the FPL is because FPL uses the same system it uses for the rest of faceit to decide teams that it does for FPL. Faceit generally groups together a generally lower elo team to face a generally higher elo team because this is what will give the lower Elo team an opportunity to win Elo from the higher Elo team and advance in the mmr system. If both teams were balanced at an average team Elo of e.g., 2000 elo then win, lose or draw neither of the team's Elos would change. So in the Elo system quality of a player is determined by having lower Elo players matched up against higher Elo players and prove their worth. It works for the rest of faceit, but it should be abolished from the Faceit Pro League
