Video quality got a bit too compressed by youtube but it's fine, you can see what is going on.

So here's another small update on this project:
I've started shifting it towards a different look, more like how it is supposed to be in my plans.

This little area is unfinished but it's supposed to be like an old abandoned apartment, it's a bit lacking right now since I've mostly just built the layout, but it's good to use something similar to what might actually be in the game for testing engine stuff.

The lights are just there for testing purposes as I've just recently gotten these spotlights to work pretty good, the final thing will have more relevant lighting going on.

Still using placeholder textures for everything just with a more consistent look so I can somewhat imagine what my own textures should look like.

Not sure if I'll stay with mixing "high" res textures (1024x1024) and pixel art weapons / enemies / items, etc but currently I kinda like how it looks with the pixeled hand from Doom, so I might keep this mix of graphic styles, who knows.

I'm still in the process adding / refining engine features up to a point where everything I need is in there, so not sure what the next update will contain whenever I post one but this is it for this one.
