FPV Fun: Chasing planes and shadows
13A really fun flight with krikey's AXN and my flyingwings.co.uk Falcon. It was the day of the eclipse, and the sun hid behind thick cloud cover for the actual event, but came out strong to cast some shadows, which were almost hypnotic to follow.
The idea of this video is that FPV flying is fun. That's why we do it, and people don't seem to get that sometimes. I can't convince any of my work colleagues that it's not about snooping on people, and we certainly had no joy from a woman we met at this location.
Despite us being in an empty space with barely anything around for a kilometre in every direction, she still felt it necessary to come and tell us that we were breaking by-laws and were basically evil. Happily we were just packing up at this point anyway... but I dunno, some people.
Anyway, it's probably our last flight here as it gets busy and very full of people in the summer - time to fly a little more under the radar :)
