An unexpected few flights today, as I thought I was on child-care duty... but no, so I got my 250 out, my 4 (only 4 !) lipos and marked for 30 minutes up to some woods near me that I thought would be suitable.

I found it scary at first, then ok, and finally exciting and fun. I thought I'd stick this up with a bit of commentary just in case someone has a quick go of going near some trees and then says "no, it's not for me". It takes a good 2 lipos get start to get it... and that's just in this quite sparse area.

It's another fun dimension to flying a mini, so I'll be doing more of it :)
