FPV Tricopter - when the worlds against you
2It was very windy today, but not raining. Not ideal conditions, but beggars can't be chooses, so I was off to FPV my Tricopter.
Tried a new CP antenna on the Tri today, but it didn't seem to work that well. Could be how I was setup near the tree's, or the conditions, or it just didn't work that well. I was going to compare with my last antenna, but then the Tri decided to break.
I found flying in the wind quite challenging, but still pretty good fun. It made more subtle flying more difficult, and doesn't make for great video and the wind creates more vibrations than normal.
I'm not 100% sure how the failure happened, perhaps the wind didn't help. Something happened the the engine that caused the wires between it and the ESC to become entangled though.
She's all repaired and ready to fly again though.
