What's this? A TIME MACHINE in DOOM?! Yep. Apparently there's an actual *PLOT* in Eternal Doom. Now in Map 05, we continue the exploration of this enigmatic wad, and found our way into a time machine that, by the end of the run, teleports us back 1250 years in time. To do what exactly? I still don't know.

The other two options; 1 billion years into the past, or 5 years into the future, apparently are not viable, because they either take us to before the planet was created, or to an apocalyptic future where the demons have destroyed the earth.

Honestly I only truly understood the time machine gimmick after re-watching my run. At the time of the recording I didn't really get it, although I did try all the options. One secret was left to find, and one monster left to kill. No idea where.

This is not DOOM Eternal. Eternal Doom is a classic doom WAD; released in 1996. Any resemblance to modern games is purely coincidental.

This is a blind run: my first time playing these maps. Ultra-Violence, pistol start.
