Frankenstein: The Monster Returns (NES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete
A beginning to end playthrough of Bandai's 1991 NES game, Frankenstein: The Monster Returns.
Frankenstein never got near the credit it deserved when it came out. It's not an AAA title, but it doesn't really try to be anything more than a novel horror-themed side-scrolling platformer. It absolutely succeeds at making for an entertaining time, and it's way more cinematic (a la Ninja Gaiden) than you would expect.
It mixes Castlevania and Sword Master to interesting results that, while probably an acquired taste, make for an attractively styled, overly melodramatic platforming soap opera that, while insanely easy, remains entertaining until the end.
