Freddy Kruger Slingshot
Freddy Kruger, the villain from the "Nightmare on Elm Street" movies, wears a glove with knife blades attached to his fingers. The prototype featured in this little video turns your hand into a weapon as well - but not into a set of knifes, instead your thumb and index finger form a catapult (or slingshot).
Thumb and index finger actually are inside of the forks, well protected from a stray bullet. It is almost impossible to drop this really ergonomic weapon.
As the forks are really big to make room for my thick fingers, very wide flatband rubber (two inches wide at the fork side) can be attached, making the slingshot quite powerful. With .55 caliber steel balls (10 gramms), 67 meters per second (220 feet) was measured.
The slingshot itself is explained and shown, then a total of four shots are passed through a chronometer (without any cuts for the sceptic audience), and finally, some slow motion video recorded by a high speed camera has been added for your information.
The slingshot is entirely home made without any commercial parts. It's not a commercial product and I do not sell it.
