Today we will look at 3D Train Studio V8. This is latest version of the software which lets you to create a small model railway. In the video we first discuss the differences between the free and paid versions, then take a look at v6 which was covered on the channel two years ago and finally install v8 and build a small layout in it.

The free version of the game is 100% usable with no time limits or methods of forcing you to upgrade. There are a couple of limitations over the paid version which are a limit of assets you can use on a layout, the limit of layers that can be used, plus you cannot share layouts. Other than that build what you want as you have full access to the asset catalogue.
