Free Platformer with some Rough Edges | Stewart the Fox
8This game is free on Steam, and it has some promising elements. I hope the developer sticks with it, as they clearly have some skill.
They need just a few things to fix this up:
- Better physics (especially faster falling, allowing for more of a speed run style)
- Better Level design (especially making it clear where you can and can't go and what little protrusions can and can't be landed on)
- More enemy actions (the enemies look cool, but each can be killed with 1 swing, and their attacks don't seem varied at all. The gun enemies in particular should be much harder)
- A little more charm with Stewart (either voice acting, or more noises like the snoring on the main screen, or better animations when jumping/attacking, etc)
But it's not miles away from being a decent platformer, so I hope they keep at it :-D
