FREE THE DRAGON | God Of War Playthrough - Part 13
Hey everybody! Welcome back to my God Of War playthrough, we just met Mimir and learned this is not the highest peak in all the realms but he can help us if we get his head back to the witch in the woods. I use a warp to get off the mountain but when I get back on the lake I accidentally go the wrong way but it leads me to a new part of the map with a lot to explore. The first place I stop I find a spirit who hates Thor and wants me to destroy a Thor statue nearby. I decide since I am here I might as well do this but I didn't realize how much there was to do in this area. I get the statue destroyed and then head to the land near by that seems to be filled with draugr but the last thing I expected to see when I docked was a dragon chained up in the background. Right away Atreus says what I am think, we gotta free the dragon. Kratos isn't fond of the idea but too bad I am in control. We start working our way through the island that is a home to the dwarf king who collected dangerous creatures but good thing there is nothing I haven't faced before. While walking around the island I find three dragon seals that are holding the dragon in place and even though he is constantly attacking me while I am trying to help him I keep trying to do so. Once I get through a big fire troll and circle back around there is only one more path to take and it has the last seal. When I freed the troll form it;s cage it attacked to I expected the same treatment from the dragon but to my surprise it just looks at us then flies off. I went from killing a dragon in the last episode to freeing one by accidentally going the wrong way in this one. What a great game this is!
His vengeance against the gods of Olympus far behind him, Kratos now lives as a man in the lands of Norse Gods and monsters. It is in this harsh, unforgiving world that he must fight to survive… and teach his son to do the same. As mentor and protector to a son determined to earn his respect, Kratos is faced with an unexpected opportunity to master the rage that has long defined him. Questioning the dark lineage he’s passed on to his son, he hopes to make amends for the shortcomings of his past. Set within the untamed forests, mountains, and realms of Norse lore, God of War features a distinctly new setting with its own pantheon of creatures, monsters, and gods.
