Could one of the next CoD games be free to play? There is already a free to play CoD called CoD Online but right now it is in China only. I feel that microtranscations and several other market factors are actually paving the way for either Treyarch's or IW's next CoD to be online only and free to play. The gameplay for this video is some S12 and ARX Advanced Warfare gameplay.
