For this lesson in freeCodeCamp's Applied Visual Design section we look at using the "em" tag. The "em" tag or 'emphasis" tag is used when we would like to italicize our text element. When we use the "em" tag it is equivalent to using the font-style property and giving it the value "italiic". The "em" tag should be used wherever we would like to emphasize our text.
