So... Was this unexpected for you guys? It was for me, too. I came back to this game recently, max ranked everything and thought: "maybe I should do it again, but while recording". And that's what brings us here. I love this game a lot, it saved me from depression Gunvolt 3 gave me and earned its spot as 2022 GOTY, so I figured I'd branch out a bit from Inti's games and cover this, since there's also ranks here.
The way you earn rainbow S rank is fairly simple: equip the 1-hit KO item + any one of the difficulty modifiers (I will be always using No Lives for this unless stated otherwise), and clear the stage without taking damage. The catch is that the Shield Crystals I picked up, upon taking hits, won't count towards damage, so you can abuse that with the right potion effects. I'm using Attack Up potions for the time being, switching things up when there's a need for that. Anyways, enough of my rambling about the generics.
Dragon Valley is your intro stage, there's not much to point out here at first glance, but the level is tricky to speedrun due to the boss messing with the terrain, not to mention the stage's gimmick where you have to release the jump at the right time to preserve momentum. With all that said, enjoy.
