*****LIVESTREAM REVIEW, FIRST TIME PLAYING*****

Freedom Planet is one of the most beautiful, true 16-bit games (slow downs included) I have ever played. Although Sonic inspired, Freedom Planet adds a few elements that make this game unique and not a clone. I wanted to keep the gameplay down to 30 minutes, and found myself glued to the controller for over an hour, before forcing myself to stop!

The only negative I could find in this game, is that at times, I had no idea what to do to pass certain obstacles (as you can see in the first level,) and there are no hints to help out. Other than that, Freedom Planet is a solid game, rating at a near perfect 9/10. I highly recommend this game to any fans of the Sonic franchise circa the Megadrive/Genesis Era and a must play for anyone interested in living the 16-bit experience.
