[Roar of Revenge] Retro Style Games "Another Ratalaika mess..."

Another one from Ratalaika Games, (the Cannon Films of indie games,) which means there's a 50/50 chance of it being really good, or really bad...
What this game does good: The buttons are mapped to where I prefer them to be. I like the retro 8-bit graphics and the sound/music are not bad at all.
What this game gets wrong: Roar of Revenge doesn't feel like it was play tested at all, and I found bugs in the early parts of the game. On top of that, I don't mind a game being difficult, but there is a difference when a game is cheap shotting the player every chance it gets, and this game takes as many as it can.
Roar of Revenge isn't the worst game, but I feel it's a below average game at a 4/10. At under $10, it's an affordable game with great graphics and sound.
