FREEDOM! The Swarm Grows... - Stellaris Arc Furnace ep 10 - Naysmith Plays

Today, I wait out the Khan and then start building up. My nanite swarms get to the point they give me just over an extra fleet every time they give me new ships (yes, I know my fleet command limit is low. I can improve that later). I also have to backtrack my technology because a bunch of weak techs are drowning out the ones I like.
The biggest issue though, is that the Chosen are going on a rampage. I could crush them, but I don't have access to them. Getting that access is too costly. As in, I don't have the resources to enable going after them. The L-Gates could let me destroy the Chosen, but now I'm bogged down by the bureaucracy of a Federation. I'm looking for ways to destroy them, and a lot of people would consider that heroic, but... what happens when there isn't ever a good choice? When the good option isn't possible?
