Netflix has released the first official teaser for the forthcoming high school comedy series "Freeridge," which is the spin-off of the hit L.A.-set teen sitcom "On My Block."

Starring Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Bryana Salaz, Shiv Pai, Ciara Riley Wilson, Michael Solomon, Zaire Adams, and J.R. Villarreal, the Netflix series, which is set in the same neighborhood as "On My Block," follows the misadventures of four teen friends who are trying to reverse a bad luck curse.

The series comes from producers-writers Lauren Iungerich, Eddie Gonzalez, Jeremy Haft, Jamie Uyeshiro, and Jamie Dooner, who are the same writing-and-producing team behind the Netflix series "On My Block," which ran for four seasons and ended its run in 2021.

"Freeridge" is due to premiere on Netflix.
