In this episode of Fallout New Vegas: The JOAT, we contemplate possible ways of increasing our ability to deal large chunks of damage from stealth, and decide that it's time to head for Vegas. In Freeside we buy some pyjamas from Mick and Ralph's, do a little bit of gambling at the Atomic Wrangler, and then head to the Old Mormon Fort to meet Arcade Gannon. We flirt with him, but he won't come with us until we get rid of Veronica. We then do a bit of gambling off-camera, and come up with a new plan. We head up north, picking up the YCS/186 from some mercenaries, and then head towards Jacobstown, picking up a few skill books along the way.

As a reminder, JOAT stands for Jack Of All Trades. In this series I am constrained by the following rules:

1. Any permanent changes to SPECIAL must be as balanced as possible
2. Any permanent changes to skills must be as balanced as possible
3. I am not allowed to choose perks - I must always take the top one in the list

These rules will force me to build the most unremarkable, unspecialised character imaginable. Playing the game with this constraint will be challenging.
