This is the third mission of Blue Planet: War in Heaven, the second campaign of the Blue Planet series. Blue Planet tells the story of the GTVA's return to Earth after constructing the Delta Serpentis portal, modeled on the Knossos devices. We occupy the character of Ensign Noemi Laporte of the 170th Fighting Navajas, stationed on the UED Solaris. GTVA bomber wings flying off of the GTD Meridian have bombed industrial and governmental sites on Luna (the moon), causing massive casualties as atmospheric domes were inevitably breached. There is a narrow window of opportunity to strike back while the Meridian is recovering her squadrons. Two frigates, the UEFg Churchill from First Fleet and UEFg Indus from Second Fleet, are assigned to the strike. The 170th is part of the fighter package flying cover for the strike element assigned to disarm the Meridian's beam cannons and escorting the frigates. Our mission is to kill or drive off the Meridian.
