This is the fifth mission of Blue Planet: War in Heaven, the second campaign of the Blue Planet series. Blue Planet tells the story of the GTVA's return to Earth after constructing the Delta Serpentis portal, modeled on the Knossos devices. We occupy the character of Ensign Noemi Laporte of the 170th Fighting Navajas, stationed on the UED Solaris. A freighter, the Nauticus, left Mars bound for Rheza Station in Earth orbit without its fighter escort for reasons unclear. As soon as it left the immediate patrol area of Second Fleet Mars, it was ambushed by a Gaian Effort cell. Contact with the crew was lost shortly thereafter, but the freighter's emergency beacon continues to transmit, so at least it's still intact. Our mission is to drive off the GEF pirates and secure the freighter.
