This is the twenty-sixth mission of the Derelict campaign for Freespace 2. After our strike against the Shivan cruisers over Sirius XII we steeled the inhabited worlds for the worst, but the Shivans never came. Instead, they hit the Castellan Shipyards, orbiting near the jump node to Deneb. The Shivans blew through the shipyard complex, and made the jump to Deneb.

Several vessels fled to safety, most further into Sirius, but one group jumped through to Deneb before realizing the Shivans were moving thorugh the node. They made a secondary crash jump, but overloaded their jump drives doing it. The GTCv Epicurus, escorting the convoy, suffered severe drive damage and is dead in space, while the GTM Telus also overloaded its drive though not to the same degree. We must oversee the evacuation of the Epicurus and repair of the Telus. This is critical, as we do not have sufficient transports to available to evacuate the Telus.
