16Prepare for liftoff as we dive into Inferno, the much-anticipated reboot of the classic Freespace 2 mod! This fan-made campaign reimagines the events following the GTVA's successful efforts to reconnect with the Sol system. Featuring new missions, ships, and lore, Inferno is a thrilling addition to the Freespace universe that no fan should miss.
The video covers the first two missions of the mod campaign, where our squadron, the GTVA's 58th Loaded Dice, engages criminal elements connected to the Earth Alliance, the successor state to the GTA that emerged during the Sol system's isolation, following the Lucifer's destruction, and the collapse of the only bridge to the rest of the galaxy.
Both the GTVA and the EA see themselves as the rightful goverments of the entire human race, so their relations are less than friendly.
These first missions provide a good introduction to current events, but I expect things to get more agressive at some point.
