This is the first mission of the Journey to Epsilon Pegasi campaign for Freespace 2. I had intended to go into Freespace Blue, but I recently heard the news that TopAce, a prolific mod creator and contributor at Hard Light Productions who created this campaign, has sadly passed away. I'm playing his campaigns in his honor. We occupy the role of a veteran pilot assigned to the GTD Achilles based in Adhara. The second Shivan incursion is currently attacking the Capella system. Our task force is dispatched to Epsilon Pegasi to investigate an unconfirmed report that Shivans entered the subspace node to the system from Capella. With the 6th Fleet based in Epsilon Pegasi ravaged by the Neo-Terran Front and its remnants deployed to Capella to repel the Shivans, there are no current GTVA fleet assets in the system.
