This is the third mission of the Blackwater Operations campaign demo for Freespace 2. The year is 2376, and we inhabit the role of Lieutenant Commander Aidan Mallory, assigned to the 95th White Lightning squadron, GTD Bethesda. It has been nine years since the severing and destruction of the Capella system. Our wing has been selected for the Terran-Vasudan Officer Exchange Program, and we are currently seconded to the GVD Memphis. The GVCv Geb and GVCv Khnum have been detected by our scout wings headed toward the Altair jump node. We must prevent the corvettes from escaping. We will fly Bakha bombers, escorted by Beta wing in Horus interceptors. Our mission is to destroy both warships. The GTD Leuneburg is en route and will join in the attack as soon as possible.
