Freespace 2: Pandora's Box - Waterloo
2This is the sixth mission of the Vasudan branch of the Pandora's Box campaign for Freespace 2. The reinforcements that we were interdicting in the last mission was set up as a sacrifice and a distraction. The NTD Guderian gave the GVD Abydos the slip and is now attempting to run back to Neo-Terran space via the Sirius jump node, having abandoned most of its escorts to die in a gambit to make us look the other way while it ran. We barely have time to catch it. We must quickly disable the Guderian's engines and destroy its two escorting warships, after which the Abydos will arrive to finish it off. The whereabouts of the frigate Iceni are still unknown.
Unlike most other content in this series, this is a blind first play. I never played this campaign when I first picked up Freespace years ago.
