Freespace 2: Pandora's Box - Thinning the Herd
1This is the fifth mission of the Vasudan branch of the Pandora's Box campaign for Freespace 2. The Neo-Terran ships that ran our blockade, with the exception of the NTF Iceni, are all heavily damaged by the run and have jumped to the same location, evidently awaiting support. We will not give them that opportunity. Our squadron will fly escort for Delta wing's bombers in a strike against the NTF support vessels, eliminating them before they can join the NTD Guderian. The Guderian will be kept from interfering by the GVD Abydos. It's location has been determined, and while we strike at the reinforcements, the Abydos will attack the Guderian directly.
Unlike most other content in this series, this is a blind first play. I never played this campaign when I first picked up Freespace years ago.
