HEY, WE'RE FLYING SUICIDE ANYWAY, SO WHY NOT DO A FEW SUICIDAL THINGS WHILE WE'RE AT IT?

The cruiser does warp in once you're close enough to SC3, but I didn't want to just RUN AWAY from the thing. Remember Snipes said we have 15 minutes to do whatever in there, then get out - cruisers are armored enough to take a pounding, yes, but they aren't armored enough to endure a full assault from a wing of fighters with Kayser weaponry.

I believe everyone in Alpha Wing except you are invulnerable once they reach a certain point of damage. I didn't mention this not to break the feel of the mission, but this is why I didn't have too many reservations about sending those orders to attack and do whatever to them.

Also, I don't remember scanning those shivan devices..?
