At the debrief of the previous mission, we were told that Command has a contingency plan ready to keep the Shivans in Capella.

We are presented with it, using knowledge of the Lucifer's destruction in Freespace 1(don't they love referencing this), they can imitate the explosive charge to destroy the two jump nodes leading out of Capella, before the Shivans can spread to further systems.

Thus, evacuation will continue as planned, and we're assigned to do WHAT?
