This is the fourteenth and final single mission from the Freespace 2 Game of the Year edition. The SD Hamtek, a Lucifer class destroyer, is blockading an important jump node. We cannot tolerate this situation, so Command has elected to use a hit and run tactic against the superdestroyer to limit damage to our capital ships. The GTD Eblin, a Hades-class destroyer we have for some reason, will jump in first and attempt to destroy the communication and navigation subsystems of the Shivan vessel to keep it from summoning reinforcements or retreating. It will be followed by the GTD Borealis, assigned to destroy the sensors and weapons systems of the target. Our task is to clear hostile fighters to make way for our bomber wings, which will then destroy the Hamtek's reactors, which should destroy the ship.

This is Freespace 2 played using the upgraded graphics courtesy of the Freespace Upgrade Project's MediaVPs, on version 4.7.3 at time of recording. Check out the project at http://hard-light.net
