This is the third mission of the Operation Templar campaign for Descent: Freespace. The objective of Operation Templar is to eradicate the Hammer of Light. Despite the fact the previous debriefing told us other assets would chase the Taurus freighters, we're in Aldebaran chasing the Taurus freighters. The wing carrying the hostages has nearly made it to the Hammer of Light destroyer Tanis. We must disable the freighters and oversee a rescue operation while under the guns of the capital ship, and then destroy all Hammer of Light assets in the area.

I'm playing through two versions of Operation Templar. This is the Freespace Port version, which is closest to the original Volition multiplayer campaign with just enough rebalancing to make it work for single player. I am running the Between the Ashes version, which is a more thorough rewrite, concurrently.
