This is the fourth mission of the Silent Threat expansion for Descent: Freespace. A Shivan offensive in Ikeya has routed the GTA fleet stationed there. We must go behind enemy lines to rescue a science vessel carrying weapon prototypes essential to the war effort. The GTSC Ratna is disabled, but a Vasudan freighter will tow it to a safe distance from the Shivan attack zone while repairing its engines.

As you can see from my concurrent playthrough of Silent Threat Reborn, this original expansion didn't give the Freespace Port developers didn't a whole lot to work with for their remake. I am doing the remake side by side with the original campaign since they depict the same events (in different ways).
