This is the third mission of the Silent Threat expansion for Descent: Freespace. In our effort to contain knowledge of the attack on the Vasudans, we are pursuing the GTSC Einstein's escape pods, but GTI has elected to capture the pods rather than destroy them out of hand (which so far seems uncharacteristic of them). We must guard the escape pods until a recovery craft arrives.

As you can see from my concurrent playthrough of Silent Threat Reborn, this original expansion didn't give the Freespace Port developers didn't a whole lot to work with for their remake. I am doing the remake side by side with the original campaign since they depict the same events (in different ways).
