This is the eighteenth and final mission of the Silent Threat Reborn fan campaign for the Freespace Port. Our reconnaissance of the Hades has revealed that its engines are enhanced with Shivan components. This leaves GTA Command to believe that the Hades has not been on a random path of destruction, but is instead making for the Deneb-Altair phasing jump node - a node too unstable for Terran or Vasudan engines to use, but which Shivans could traverse just fine.

If this happens, the Hades will slip behind Vasudan lines and devastate the remaining Vasudan home systems unopposed. We have one final chance: The collision with the PVD Hope has damaged the Hades' engines, and we have a short window to attack while the ship effects repairs in orbit of Deneb III. The GTD Soyakaze is the only ship in position to reach it in time, so we must attack at once. We are part of an advance strike package, and must neutralize the Hades' beam turrets so that the Soyakaze can effectively challenge it. If we fail, our command ship will be destroyed in moments.

As you can see from my concurrent playthrough of the original Silent Threat, the Freespace Port team wasn't given a whole lot to work with for this remake. I am doing the original campaign and this remake side by side since they depict the same events (in different ways).
