FoFiX has a Linux port, but I was unable to compile it because there were no step-by-step instructions... so I decided to try the Windows installer in PlayOnLinux and it runs perfectly!
I was able to use some custom themes and add all of my songs.
I tried a few background animated stages but there were a few bugs. I will try again later on.

My Xbox USB guitar controller worked perfectly as well. So Linux was able to handle everything to make the game playable and modable.
