Friday Night Funkin': VS. Whitty is a mod made for the rhythm game/Newgrounds sensation, Friday Night Funkin'. The game has you, as the Boyfriend, compete in a rap battle against Whitty, an ex-rockstar with an explosive temper who had a troubled past with Girlfriend's parents, namely her father.

This mod is often considered to be the founding father of Friday Night Funkin's modding community, with many mods coming after it, including Tabi, Tricky, and Mid-Fight Masses, being inspired by Whitty. Sadly, due to controversies regarding supposed copycat mods, Whitty's creator (who I'll not name out of respect for them) quit the Friday Night Funkin' fanbase, ultimately discontinuing the mod, and eventually having it deleted from Gamebanana.

This video is a recording of the mod, made to pay tribute to Whitty and the impact the character and the mod left in the Friday Night Funkin' fanbase. And yes, just like with the J.O.K.E.R. mod, I'm rather bad at this game, which you could especially see in the last song. Despite my horrid skills at rhythm games, I do hope that this gameplay is enough to pay respect to one of, if not the most important mod in Friday Night Funkin'.
