FridAy-QWorlds - April 17th - So many things!
0This video wasn't as long as I... FEARED it would be, with all the updates to talk about!
Today we cover:
- Something hit the Guardian Tower on Monday! For safety reasons, the Guardian Tower has been temporarily blocked off and the shop has been moved to Guardian Keenwa right outside!
- Once again AE said something misleading... after claiming that the thing that hit the Guardian Tower would be revealed tonight, they then changed their mind and said something will happen on MONDAY! So, we get to spend 4/20 on AQWorlds!
- Twilly, Zorbak, and Twig are now PETS! And not just any pets... they're PETS FOR ALL PLAYERS! That's right, member or non-member, you can head to Aria's shop and do a daily quest every day! You'll need to do it thirty times for one pet, so after about three months of daily work you'll have three awesome moglins following you around! A BATTLEPET version of each is coming next week as well (although they haven't said if they'll take longer than 30 days or same amount)!
- The small team behind EpicDuel (Titan, Nightwraith, Charfade, Rabblefroth) have been working on a secret project for the last few weeks... and now that project is revealed: Bio Beasts, a new mobile game that probably won't be coming to PC for many months just like BattleGems! You'll control a mutating beast fighting your way out of a laboratory operated by robots!
- Buy the Twilight's Arcana thingy for a chance to win 1 of 100 exclusive Arcana weapons! Not 100 different weapons, it means 100 players get the weapons, cuz 100 weapons would be... yeah. Anyway, next week you can search for the hidden giver of a quest that will also get you the Twilight's Arcana Staff!
- Do you have the Blade of Awe, but you think it's just not awe-some enough for someone like the Hero of Lore? Never fear, because you can now add some more awe to your awe-ppearance! The Armor of Awe is here! Although, it has some pretty big requirements. If you're a member, you can cheat and buy the Awe Pass to immediately start questing for the Armor. If you're a Guardian in the original AdventureQuest, you need to be at least Level 35 and have Rank 5 in Blade of Awe to buy the Guardian Awe Map from Valencia, and if you're not an AQW member or an AQ Guardian, you'll need to be at least Level 55 and have Rank 10 in Blade of Awe to buy the normal Armor of Awe Map! There are six quests to find each part of the armor, and unfortunately, no, you can't wear each piece on their own, you can only merge them into the full set!
- Unfortunately, as you probably already know, tonight's "main" release is members-only... which is why Moglin Pets are the main feature of this episode! But I'll still tell you what's up with the members' release: a journey through Memet's Nightmare Realm, which is basically an upgrade of the FEAR event from sooo long ago! Spiders, snakes, heights, clowns, needles, and more await you in this fearful journey through the realm of a cute little demon moglin!
- However, Planet Day is back! Save the world once again with Captain Lore!
- If they're not lying again, Dage's Betrayal Part 2 SHOULD actually come next Friday! There will also be a suggestion shop update and an LTS with a Dage armor!
