This is the ultimate indoor showdown between Paul and Jason, let's take this fight inside, it's getting too dark!

When a player is down to one or two counselors, Jason will NOT leave a battle after taking the usual 7 hits, but instead, he will actually stick around until either he or your counselor DIES! Even if Jason has full energy, he will NEVER let "YOU WIN...FOR NOW."!

To make this challenge even greater, no items were used against Jason on Day 3.

Mark was purposely made to look pretty silly prior to the final battle just for fun and also in order to be down to one counselor remaining, triggering the most pissed off Jason yet!

Those of you who happened to notice an edit after Mark's death in Crystal Lake are probably wondering what exactly happened there. Well, originally Crissy died inside of a cabin on purpose, while trying to protect the children by the lake, thus making Paul the sole remaining counselor.

However, Mark's death was just so much more epic looking and shocking to be left out, since he is widely known as the game's best counselor after all. Therefore, having Mark die and then passing the torch, so to speak, to the "token black guy" in Paul, who supposedly always dies first, just made a whole lot more sense in terms of its historical significance.

Most would probably write off Paul in a life and death struggle with Jason, but can the underdog take a page from Mike Tyson and bob and weave (dodge) like never before to actually become a Friday the 13th hero for a change? Stay tuned to find out, you're in for one LLLOOOOOONG fight!

Since stones take 5 hits to take off one of Jason's energy bars and Jason has 32 energy bars in total, it takes a total of 160 hits to put away a 100% fully Nintendo Powered Jason this way!

In contrast, it only takes 4 hits for Jason to kill off a counselor when fighting him inside of a cabin without using any items!

Any counselor can basically be used during this challenge, as they are all pretty much equal when it comes to fighting off Jason inside of a cabin. However, Crissy, Laura and Mark do move more quickly than the others when walking from side to side.

There is actually a better/easier way of avoiding Jason's cabin attacks on Day 3, compared to the one that I used here. The counselor can actually get a hit in after each of Jason's double attacks, by first dodging his first attack very late and then continuing to hold down the dodge button, in order to easily avoid the second hit and land a clean blow right afterwards.

However, I was unaware of this technique at that particular time and therefore made things a LOT harder on myself by having to make Paul try to dodge every single one of Jason's hay makers! Well, at least the battle lives up to its marathon status this way!

Stay on your toes, come out dodging and countering Jason's attacks!

*Happy 25th Anniversary to one of my favorite NES games! Yep, Friday the 13th has been around since 1988 and is still going strong, baby!

Played by Daniel "DTysonator" Teixeira on an original NES console, while using a regular controller and no cheating as always, unless of course it would help to make the game in question even harder, like with my Mike Tyson's Black-Out!! Game Genie code= YATZEY!
