In today's video we are making something to put onto a pulled pork sandwich, or eat next to any number of other things. We fry up slices of Anaheim chilis, but this preparation method could be used for Onions, Jalapenos or maybe even pickles. I totally want to try pickles now, though I hadn't said it to the video.

Recipe is easy. Anaheim chilis (or whatever you choose), cut into slices. Soak in buttermilk for 15+ minutes, dredge in a mixture of flour and corn meal. We added in some cayenne pepper, but I made more today (with the extras) and added onion powder, adobo and salt. Experiment for what works for you. Fry in 350 degree oil, and store in the oven as you work the batches.
