Medium sized huntsman spider dropped down from the ceiling on to the top of my barcode scanner. These spiders are around the house fairly regularly but they don't usually make day visits like this.

I am at no risk of harm from it; they are not aggressive towards humans unless you provoke them, however 99.99% of the time they'll scoot off to the nearest available hiding place when you approach them.
