Description:
Adol arrives in the Prison City of Balduq, but is quickly arrested due to the bad blood between him and Romn. When he tries to escape the prison, a woman named Aprilis drafts him to help her fight off the Lemures demons in order to protect Balduq, though he's also going to investigate the mysteries of the city and why the demons appeared in the first place.

1:19 Balduq Prison, Underground
I am not used to the controls and I have to readjust to the jump and attack buttons.
Aprilis shoots magic bullet that transforms Adol into a demonic looking being. This also transforms Adol's generic sword for some reason.
Adol can't swim for some reason.
11:32 Boss: Maretudo (Nightmare)
The attacks are very easy to dodge compared to most first bosses. You can also use Crimson Line to quickly close in on the enemy, making it easier to balance offense and evasion if you suck at flash timing. I somehow won without taking damage, but also without using flash mechanics.
13:24 Balduq Prison, Underground P2
Adol is too exhausted to fight the guards and jumps into the water to escape.
15:48 Outside Balduq
Warden Belgar is the Romun officer in charge of the prison, and he immediately tries to arrest Adol. However, the Hieroglyph Knights handle the arrest instead. Commander Chatelard quickly moves behind Adol and knocks him out with a chop, showing that he's probably on an even higher tier than Scias and other super soldiers in past games.
24:25 Balduq Prison Halls
Prisoners are only referred to by their number, and Adol is 217. The prisoners are also not allowed to interact with each other. Despite this, Adol tries to protect an elderly prisoner from a bullying one. Somehow, Adol ends up with a fork.
A Romun officer interrogates Adol and states that his tales are unbelievable, especially the part where he keeps losing his legendary weapons. After a few days of interrogation, the officer states that Adol will be transferred to the empire to be tried for his "crimes."
The neighboring inmate is the one who got Adol the fork, since he wants Adol to escape for some reason. Is he working for Aprilis?
41:56 Balduq Main Gates
Adol washes up in the main gates part of town and hides in an abandoned inn. He uses conveniently placed hair dye to disguise himself and then goes into town to investigate.
51:05 Grimwald Nox - Charonian Valley
When you activate the event at the notice board, Adol will be taken to the cursed land, Grimwald Nox. He and the other Monstrums must defend the Sphene from several waves of demons, giving Aprilis time to dispel the Nox.
The other Monstrums basically function as invincible party members, but they can't be accessed from the menu yet.
The boss Gevaudon shows up in the final wave. It's much faster and more aggressive than the frog boss, but with a ton of invincible party members, you have some room for error.

The townspeople fear the Monstrums for some reason.
Dogi shows up and helps clean up Adol's hideout.
