Frogger | 1998 | Dodge Traffic in this Classic!
1Frogger is a 1981 arcade action game developed by Konami and manufactured by Sega. The object of the game is to direct five frogs to their homes by dodging traffic on a busy road, then crossing a river by jumping on floating logs and alligators. The game was ported to Game Boy with two separate releases: the Game Boy and Game Boy Color, in 1998.
GAME RECORDING INFO:
The game was emulated at Retroarch, using GAMBATTE core, with accurate color correction. It was integer scaled to 4k, without bi-linear filtering, and retaining the original aspect ratio (display aspect ratio, not internal resolution). And captured using shader / filter that simulates the image of the original screen. I also created a Gameboy Color image to use as a bezel above the game, to create a nostalgic atmosphere.
