In this episode I move forward with the upgrade because even if the previous brought a lot of benefits, there were still some things not quite OK.
12GB of ram is decent, even if some games gave me "not enough memory" messages even if they were playable.
The big problem was the CPU: too old. Not underpowered but lack of instructions like AVX which some games require (EA Sports WRC).

So, if you are in this situation and look for budget upgrades, you do not have to replace everything. I am keeping the case, power source, 2.5 in ssd, and replace only some: the mainboard, the CPU, RAM and the already replaced GPU.
