In this #MasterpieceFriday edition of #TheDailyDoug, we're listening to about half of the landmark 1980 album Duke by Genesis. In this transition album, Genesis is migrating from their progressive rock sounds of the '70's into a leading prog-pop band for the '80's.This suite of 6 songs is split up among the tracks on the album, and it tells the tale of Albert (aka Duke) and his relationship/work trials and tribulations. I had only heard Turn It On Again previously...although I recognized the lead riff from Behind the Lines. I hope you enjoy!
